简介 Introduction

《Beautiful dreamer》（美丽的梦神），大约创作于1862年间。当时福斯特其在纽约，经济拮据，生活困顿，在乏人照料之下，日夜思念妻子珍妮，因而写出如此动人的歌曲。因而这首歌的风格比另一首写给珍妮的歌《金发珍妮》更为感伤。《美丽的梦神》不论是歌词或旋律，都是其他思念亲友的歌曲所无法比拟的。这首曲子也是佛斯特创作的民谣歌曲中少有的三拍子歌曲。
