Biography
Soprano Fei Xia holds her Master of Music degree in vocal performance from the University of Miami and Artist Diploma from Montclair State University. She is currently pursuing her Doctoral of Music Arts degree in vocal performance at West Virginia University where she is studying with Dr. Hope Koehler. She has been advanced to the live final round of MIA Artist Management Opera Roster Audition in 2020. Ms.Fei performed the roles of Prima Cercatrice and Una Novizia in Suor Angelica with Montclair State University Opera in February of 2020. In 2017, Fei made her Carnegie Hall debut in the role of Juliette in Roméo et Juliette. In 2018, she performed the role of Giulietta in Les contes d’Hoffmann with New York Lyric Opera in the Opera Gala at Carnegie Hall. She has sung the role of Una Novizia in Suor Angelica and Ilia in Idomeneo with Angels Vocal Art opera company in the Summer Festival in 2019. She will be singing the role of Pamina in Die Zauberflöte with Manhattan Opera Studio at the 2022 Summer Festival. Her major roles: Annio (La Clemenza di Tito), Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi), Despina (Così fan tutte), Angelica (Orlando), etc. She is Cerfified Artist at Classical Singer Association.
