Masterpieces of Lv Qiming: Symphony of ‘Zheng Chenggong’, Overture of ‘Ode to Red Flags’, the epic ‘Dr. Norman Bethune’, symphony ‘Yuhua Memorial Ceremony’, string ‘Longhua Memorial Ceremony - to Shanghai Liberation Martyrs’, symphonic poem ‘Railway Guerrillas’, caprice ‘Sentry under Neon’.

‘Ode to Red Flags’ is an orchestral overture created by Mr. Lv in 1965 and was a hit in 1965 Shanghai Spring opening ceremony by the famous conductor Chen Chuanxi with Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, Shanghai Film Group and Shanghai Orchestra as it debut. With one theme through the development of ‘Ode to Red Flags’, it consists of three structures, starting with introduction, the national anthem is played on loud trumpet , depicting the foundation of the People's Republic of China on October 1, 1949. That was a moving, yet exciting moment when five-star red flag rose in the majestic Tiananmen Square. This work remains quoted frequently by movies, TV shows, concerts, and played over the radio, film and television, the events as one of the most reoccurring works.
